Hobart Tasmania The latest weather forecast from Lee Bruce, Team Bullimore's weather guru, is not promising for this week. his is Bruce's latest prognosis: 'The wind pattern still is not conducive for a start. Monday has brought some marginal NNE wind to the start line, but 24-hours into the route, the wind speed still is not great, and the direction backs to NNW--too soon for a reasonable sailing angle to get south of New Zealand. This is because a high-pressure centre to the east of Hobart drifts toward the northeast, rather than moving east or east-southeast." Tony is keeping his fingers crossed for better winds to fill in at the end of February . |
